Donate

Friends of California Condors Wild and Free is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization with the mission to enhance public awareness of the endangered California Condor and ensure they are protected, healthy, and free. We are run entirely by dedicated volunteers.

Donations help the Friends stay strong, active, and effective in our California condor education and outreach, as well as our direct support of condor reintroduction activities.

Your donation will help fund lectures and refuge tours, informational booths, classroom education, a seasonal condor viewing booth, refuge workdays, field trips for students learning about California condors, and more.

To make a donation offline, please mail a check or money order to our Ventura, CA address below.

Our current donations appeal is raising funds to purchase clean food for condors.  If you would like to know more about this appeal, please visit our Avian Influenza page

Thank you!

We have created a gift registry on Amazon full of the equipment that we need to replenish our existing outreach kits and create a new one.  You can support us by gifting items as big as shade canopies and folding carts or as small as reusable zip-ties and sharpies.

Some of the items you will find in the registry are table cloths, condor books, protective cases for our model skulls and eggs, display cases, and tweezer for our interactive Condor surgery game.

Curious what other everyday items we use to help folks learn to love condors? Click on the button below to visit our registry and check it out.

Thank you so much for thinking of us this giving season!

Thank you to our supporters!

Financial contributions and donation of skills help us to continue our mission to enhance public awareness of the endangered California Condor and ensure they are protected, healthy, and free.
